Contracting Opportunities
Yachad is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified contractors to perform weatherization services on single family homes. Yachad is a grantee of DC DOEE weatherization program and will act as general contractor for services. Qualified contractors will perform some or all of audit recommended weatherization measures for single family homes. Contractors must be licensed in DC, have adequate insurance, not have been disqualified from working on Federal or DC grants, and have necessary certifications. Work will be performed per specifications and requirements.
To submit an application for consideration please print and complete the RFQ package and submit the necessary documentation. Email submission is preferred, although a hard copy is acceptable. Incomplete packages will not be accepted.

Weatherization Assistance Program
Homeowners interested in applying for the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which provides financial assistance to help low-income residents reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient should contact the DOEE directly at 311 to make an appointment for Energy Assistance.
Solar for All
Solar for All is the DC Department of Energy and Environment’s program to install solar on single family homes and develop community solar projects to benefit renters and residents in multi-family buildings. For more information about this program, contact the DOEE directly at 311.
