Faith to Faith Community Development Program
The Faith to Faith Community Development Program brings together minority churches and Jewish real estate professionals to work side by side developing plans and restoring properties. Yachad's Faith to Faith church partners take the lead in creating affordable housing for families, delivering support services, and developing commercial amenities for neighborhood residents.
Yachad calls on skilled Jewish professionals - architects, builders, attorneys, and contractors - to initially donate their time to assist with all phases of development, offering a full range of hands-on technical assistance to help small start-up to medium non-profit developers build skills to take on challenging projects.

- Rising Sun Baptist Church, Upper Northeast DC
- Emory United Methodist Church, Upper Northwest DC
- New Covenant Evangelical Center, Downtown DC
- Living Word Church, Anacostia DC

Neighborhood Development Assistance Program
If you are a nonprofit that runs a community center or living space and are in need of repairs done on the space, Yachad might be able to help. Yachad can match skilled and non-skilled volunteers with resources provided by the nonprofits to complete a variety of development projects. Recent projects include work with:
- Rachael's Women's Center - a day shelter for homeless men and women in Washington, DC
- Strive DC - a career development center that provides training and professional clothing for the unemployed
- Building Futures - permanent housing for DC residents living with HIV/AIDS
- Woodley House and Holly House - transitional housing for DC residents with mental disabilities
- Girls Inc. - a community center created for inner city girls to gain confidence and knowledge about the world around them
