Ruach Yachad (Spirit of Yachad) Honorees: Janna & Zachary Oxman
Janna and Zachary Oxman joined the Yachad family in 2004 when Yachad honored Abe Pollin. Mr. Pollin was presented the Rabbi Joseph P. Weinberg Community Builder Award, — a sculptural bronze tzedakah box crowned with dancing figures symbolizing the importance of community, of “togetherness” designed and created by Zachary Oxman. Every year since then, the Oxmans have contributed this sculpture or another unique bronze creation for Yachad’s award recipients. Zachary, a professional artist and Janna, a lawyer and marketer, have been contributing works of art to organizations that endeavor to help others in need throughout the country over the past twenty-three years. It has always been their hope that Zachary’s works of art will serve to inspire others to support those in need of resources and compassion. The Oxman’s say that their dearest collaborative works are their two grown children, Elias and Ila Rose.
