For our We the People Federal Holiday program, we invite individuals to come volunteer for a few hours at a home we are repairing. This past Labor Day about 15 volunteers came together to work on a home in Southeast DC. The home belonged to the Cobb Family of three, mother, step father and teenage daughter. The day was a huge success.

Yachad and the DCJCC both ran a site. Yachad organized their site at Building Futures in Columbia Heights, a building of approximately 30 units that will be permanent housing for people living with HIV/AIDS.
