Milestone Advisors, LLC (“Milestone”) is is a FINRA licensed broker/dealer headquartered in Washington, DC. Two months ago they reached out to YACHAD in hopes of being able to bring their employees together to volunteer in the community. Milestone was not only willing to bring in volunteers to help repair a home, but they also were willing to fund the repairs. Through YACHAD’s Mitzvah Party program, we matched them up with Ms. Tabatha McNeil of the Trinidad neighborhood who has been waiting for her home to be repaired for nearly a year. Now, with this generous grant and helping hands, Ms. McNeil and her two children will have a repaired roof, working electricity, floor under their feet and fresh paint on their walls. Milestone is gathering tomorrow morning to help the McNeils get back on track and stay in their home.

- This will be sanded and painted.

- Ms. McNeil was able to afford a new oven to cook with, but drywall repair and painting was out of her budget. We will be painting the kitchen.

- The bedroom door was destroyed by the last residents. We will repair the door and repaint it.

- We will lay flooring down and the McNeils can use the space as a well-needed closet.
