Why hold the film festival?
Everytime D.C. is in the movies, the only thing being filmed are the monuments and the White House. What is missing from Hollywood and the film industry is a true D.C. perspective. D.C. is a great living city filled with wonderful neighborhoods and residents doing important work. It's more than just monuments, politicos and traffic and the Our City Film Festival is out to proove it!
